1. Introduction

Monveri LLC ("Monveri," "we," "our," or "us") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the information you share with us. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your information when you use our website, software platform, and related services (collectively, the "Services").

By accessing or using the Services, you agree to the terms outlined in this Privacy Policy.

2. Information We Collect

We may collect information that you voluntarily provide, including:

  • Name
  • Email address
  • Business name
  • Business contact information
  • Account login credentials
  • Payment or billing information
  • Feedback submitted through forms or support requests

Business Data

When using the Monveri platform, businesses may store operational data including:

  • Sales transactions
  • Inventory information
  • Product details
  • Customer information entered by the business
  • Operational analytics data

This information remains the property of the business using the platform. Monveri does not use business-entered customer data for its own marketing, analytics, or any purpose beyond delivering the Services to that business.

Automatically Collected Information

We may automatically collect certain technical information including:

  • IP address
  • Browser type
  • Device information
  • Log files
  • Usage activity within the platform
  • Cookies and similar technologies

3. How We Use Your Information

We use collected information to:

  • Provide and maintain our Services
  • Create and manage user accounts
  • Process transactions
  • Improve platform performance and functionality
  • Provide customer support
  • Communicate updates, notices, and service announcements
  • Monitor platform security and prevent fraud

Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)

For users located in the European Union or United Kingdom, we process personal data only where we have a lawful basis to do so, including:

  • Contract Performance: Processing necessary to deliver the Services you have requested or entered into an agreement for.
  • Legitimate Interests: Processing necessary for our legitimate business interests, such as platform security, fraud prevention, and service improvement, where those interests are not overridden by your rights.
  • Legal Obligation: Processing required to comply with applicable laws or regulations.
  • Consent: Where required, we will seek your explicit consent before processing your data for specific purposes, such as marketing communications.

You may withdraw consent at any time where consent is the basis for processing, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out prior to withdrawal.

4. Data Ownership and Isolation

Monveri is designed with dedicated store-level data architecture. Each business operates within its own database and file environment.

This architecture ensures:

  • Business data remains isolated
  • No co-mingling of data between businesses
  • Enhanced security and privacy for each client

Businesses retain full ownership of their operational data stored within the platform.

5. Data Sharing

Monveri LLC does not sell, rent, or trade personal information to third parties.

We may share limited information only when necessary to:

  • Process payments through payment processors
  • Comply with legal obligations
  • Enforce our Terms of Service
  • Protect the security of the platform

Third-party service providers are required to maintain strict confidentiality and security practices.

Referral Partner Program

Monveri operates a referral partner program in which third-party partners may refer new businesses to the platform. Referral partners have access to a limited portal that displays only their own commission and payout data. Specifically, referral partners may see:

  • The number of businesses they have referred
  • Commission amounts, statuses, and payout history
  • Subscription tier and active status of referred businesses

Referral partners do not have access to:

  • Business names or identifying details of referred stores
  • Customer data, sales transactions, or any operational data belonging to referred businesses
  • Account credentials or internal settings of any business on the platform
  • Data belonging to any business they did not refer

This limitation is enforced at the platform level to protect the identity and privacy of all businesses using the Services.

6. International Data Transfers

Monveri LLC is based in the United States. If you access the Services from outside the United States, please be aware that your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your country.

By using the Services, you acknowledge and consent to the transfer of your information to the United States. Where required by applicable law — including for users in the EU or UK — we take appropriate safeguards to ensure your data is protected in accordance with this Privacy Policy and applicable data protection regulations.

7. Data Security

We implement industry-standard safeguards to protect data including:

  • Secure infrastructure
  • Encryption where appropriate
  • Access control restrictions
  • System monitoring and security practices

While we strive to protect all data, no system can guarantee absolute security.

Data Breach Notification

In the event of a data breach that affects your personal information, Monveri will notify affected users and, where required, relevant regulatory authorities, in accordance with applicable law. Notification will be provided as promptly as reasonably practicable and will include the nature of the breach, the data affected, and the steps we are taking to address it.

Do Not Track

Some browsers transmit Do Not Track (DNT) signals to websites. At this time, the Services do not respond to DNT signals, as there is no universally accepted standard for how such signals should be interpreted. We will continue to monitor developments in this area and update our practices accordingly.

9. Data Retention

We retain information only as long as necessary to:

  • Provide the Services
  • Maintain business records
  • Comply with legal obligations
  • Resolve disputes and enforce agreements

Businesses may request deletion of their data upon account termination where permitted by law.

11. Third-Party Services and Marketplace Integrations

The Monveri platform may integrate with third-party services such as payment processors, marketplace platforms (e.g., Etsy, Amazon, eBay, Shopify), or shipping integrations. These services operate under their own privacy policies.

Monveri is not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party providers. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party services you connect to through the platform.

Marketplace Data Handling

When you connect a marketplace account (such as your Etsy shop) to Monveri, you authorize Monveri to access data from that marketplace on your behalf. In this role:

  • You are the controller of the data that flows through the integration. Monveri acts as your service provider and processor, handling the data solely to deliver the synchronization and management features you have enabled.
  • We collect only what is needed. The OAuth scopes requested are the minimum necessary to provide the feature set you turned on (for example, if you do not enable order import, we do not retrieve or store order data).
  • We do not sell marketplace data, use it for our own marketing, or use it to train machine-learning or artificial-intelligence models.
  • Marketplace buyer information (such as Etsy buyer names, shipping addresses, or contact details visible to you as the seller) is treated as belonging to you and is processed only to deliver the features you have enabled. Monveri does not use this information to contact marketplace buyers, does not share it with other Monveri customers, and does not use it for any purpose unrelated to your operation of your marketplace account.
  • Data freshness and retention. Data retrieved from third-party marketplaces is refreshed on schedules compatible with the marketplace's requirements (for Etsy, listing content no older than 6 hours and other content no older than 24 hours). Marketplace data is retained only as long as reasonably necessary to deliver the service. When you disconnect a marketplace, we stop retrieving new data, delete stored access tokens, and purge cached marketplace data on a rolling basis.

Etsy Integration — Specific Disclosures

For Etsy sellers using the Monveri Etsy integration, the following additional disclosures apply:

  • Monveri acts as a service provider to you, the Etsy seller. Any personal information relating to Etsy members (including buyers) that Monveri accesses through Etsy's API is processed only to fulfill the service you have engaged Monveri to provide.
  • The Etsy integration is strictly a seller-side synchronization tool. Monveri does not use Etsy data to market the Monveri public storefront to Etsy buyers, does not email Etsy buyers, and does not provide functionality that migrates Etsy shops or Etsy buyers to the Monveri storefront. Etsy is treated as a peer sales channel.
  • If Monveri becomes aware of any compromise or suspected compromise of Etsy member data obtained through the integration, Monveri will notify Etsy and the affected seller as soon as reasonably possible and in no event later than 24 hours after discovery.
  • Disconnecting your Etsy shop from within Monveri immediately revokes Monveri's access to your Etsy data. You may also revoke the connection at any time from within Etsy.
  • For questions about the Etsy integration or to exercise rights over data handled through it, contact support@monveri.co. For privacy-specific requests, contact the Privacy Officer listed in Section 14.

Etsy's own handling of your information is governed by Etsy's privacy policy, available on Etsy's website.

12. Children's Privacy

The Services are not intended for individuals under the age of 13, or such higher age as may be required by applicable law in your jurisdiction. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child, we will take prompt steps to delete it.

If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at the information listed in Section 15.

13. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes to our Services or legal requirements. Updated versions will be posted on our website with a revised "Last Updated" date.

Continued use of the Services following the posting of changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. For material changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify users directly, such as via email or a notice within the platform, prior to the changes taking effect.
